Our Adventures

Join us as we share our adventures, explore beautiful landscapes across the country, capture memories, and celebrate life’s little and big moments along the way. We wanted a place to share our photos and adventures with friends and family, we do like our privacy, so you need to create a login to see our photo galleries. Creating a login is simple, and its free. We don’t sell any contact information and really don’t plan to email you. Maybe we will do a holiday letter or something (but no promises Mom & Dad).

You may or may not be family, but hopefully we can count you as a friend.

These are our pictures and trips. All of the images you see on this site are photos that we have taken along the way. We don’t use any fancy equipment, filters, or the like. Its typically just an iphone (Kimberly) or a Samsung (Dan) and occasionally a tripod if we planned ahead.

No AI content, anywhere. These are our words and our stories written about our trips. While apparently AI wordpress content generators are a thing now, we don’t like them or use them. AI content is bland, meaningless words strung together in ways designed to appease search engines for traffic and clicks, lets not add to it. Send a note if we miss-spelled, fat fingered, or otherwise used poor grammar.

Because Dan is more than a little bit nerdy, where we have links here to other sites, gear, places to stay, etc, we may use affiliate links. If you don’t know, most of the clicks you make off of other web pages generate the site owners money, via affiliate links. Its typically very small amounts, pennies or fractions of pennies, that can add up if you have a high volume of clicks (Office Space anyone?). Review sites do everything they can generate more clicks and a lot of places are supplied free stuff to give positive reviews or even companies providing the review itself. We do not and will never do that here (note our complete lack of ads). Anything we reference on this site is stuff we use, or places we have gone or stayed. But who knows, maybe a few of your clicks will pay for a cold beer or glass of wine. We will update you here if it ever does. We don’t plan or try to influence things (I think our kids would agree).
